The Crossman Group is pleased to confirm that following its acquisition of Frome House, Lower Bristol Road, Bath, it has now submitted a planning application seeking the redevelopment of the building to provide purpose built student accommodation. The application seeks full planning permission for the extension of the building to provided 66 student flats, communal study rooms and external rear amenity space. The proposals also include the recladding of the building’s facade, and also external street planting to improve the appearance of the building. The existing ground floor tyre repair centre will be retained in the development.
Frome House is ideally located for student accommodation, being less than a five minute walk from to Bath Spa University’s Locksbrook Campus. The property is also within walking distance of of local shops and amenities, and is situated on a main bus route into Bath city centre.
The Crossman Group hope to secure planning permission in early 2022.
