Crossman Acquisitions is delighted to confirm that planning permission has been granted for the redevelopment of Frome House to provide 66 purpose built student bedspaces. Obtaining planning permission was very challenging, as despite the council’s planning officer recommending approval, the planning committee at Bath and North East Somerset Council went against this recommendation, and refused permission. Therefore, Crossman Acquisitions, using its in-house experts appealed this decision to the Planning Inspectorate. The decision was recently handed down, and unequivocally supported all of the arguments made by Crossman Acquisitions and granted plannning permission.

This high quality development has now been sold to Rengen, a leading developer of purpose built student accommodation. The finished development will provide high quality student accommodation, within walking distance of Bath Spa University’s Locksbrook Campus. This really will be a fantastic development for this part of Bath, and just goes to show that peseverence really does pay off!
