Following the closure of Speedwell Swimming Baths, Bristol, in 2005, the Crossman Group acquired the site, and in collaboration with Bristol City Council, secured planning permission for its redevelopment to provide 31 much needed affordable homes.

Unfortunately, since the closure of the baths, the building had been subject to anti-social behaviour, and had become an eyesore for the local community:

However, the redevelopment of the site is now complete, with the finished development now having been transferred to Abri housing association. This marks the succesful completion of an important regeneration project for the local community, and one that has delivered much needed to affordable homes to Bristol.

Go team Crossman!
