Held in Cannes, MIPIM sees more than 26,800 international property professionals gather for four days of real estate exhibitions, conferences and networking. The central theme of the event this year is ‘Driving Urban Change’ which considers how cities can become more adaptive and resilient in response to changing living practices. These are issues that have been brought into sharp relief with the Covid-19 pandemic, and of course the challenges we are all facing from climate change.
The Crossman Group has sustainability at the heart of its company ethos, with all of its developments responding positively to the environment around them, whether that be rural or urban locations. This is a message that two of our directors, Brad Hughes and Matthew Halstead, will be sharing with other delegates at this year’s MIPIM as they discuss the challenges facing the development industry and what it can do to positively respond. They will no doubt also be sampling the fine food and wine Cannes has to offer!
