We are launching a competition for budding young naturalists to design a bug hotel and wildlife garden. The winning design will be chosen by biologist and TV presenter Miranda Krestovnikoff and will be incorporated into a new park area being created as part of our Masters Church development in Kingswood, South Gloucestershire.
We’re giving over an area of this new park as a wildlife garden so, seeing as children are stuck at home at the moment, we’d like to invite any local nature enthusiasts to design a bug hotel with surrounding planting to encourage wildlife.
Let your imagination run wild and get those creative juices flowing. It’ll be an important aspect of this development and will be an area locals and wildlife can enjoy for generations to come.
- The competition is open to children aged up to 16
- The space available for the bug hotel and wildlife garden is 1 metre by 3 metres
- Designs should be emailed to neil@propagandapr.co.uk
- Remember to include as much detail as possible, even down to the plants and flowers you’d plant next to the bug hotel
- Include sizes, measurements and details of materials
- The closing date for entrants is 20th August 2020
Good Luck!
